Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Representative to join our team at SugarShot, a leading Managed Services Provider. This role is responsible for acquiring new Managed IT Services customers. Your primary focus is to present and sell SugarShot’s full suite of Managed IT Services to potential clients.

You will play a crucial role in expanding our market presence and driving new business growth. This position offers the flexibility to work from home, with occasional travel required to engage with prospective clients and attend industry events

Key Responsibilities

Sales Prospecting & Lead Generation:

    • Engage prospective clients through various channels, including cold calling, networking events, referrals, and targeted marketing campaigns.
    • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of leads and opportunities to drive new business growth.
    • Identify and target potential customers to generate new business opportunities for our Managed IT Services.

    Customer Needs Assessment & Solution Alignment:

    • Conduct in-depth discovery to understand customer needs, challenges, and pain points.
    • Provide a consultative sales approach to position SugarShot’s Managed IT Services as tailored solutions for each customer.
    • Conduct compelling presentations and demonstrations to showcase the value proposition, features, benefits, and differentiators of our services.
    • Collaborate with our technical teams as needed to ensure successful delivery of solution.

    Sales Cycle Management & Documentation:

    • Qualify and convert leads generated by SugarShot’s marketing initiatives into viable sales opportunities.
    • Maintain and meet sales activity goals in CRM system.
    • Respond to all inquiries and RFPs with customized proposals, ensuring all client requirements are addressed.
    • Conduct thorough follow-up with prospects, closing deals to meet or exceed sales targets.

    Market Research & Industry Knowledge:

    • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies in the Managed IT Services space.
    • Maintain in-depth product knowledge of SugarShot’s service offerings and unique selling propositions.
    • Position SugarShot’s services effectively differentiating us from competitors.

    Relationship Building & Networking:

    • Cultivate and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers, including C-suite executives, within prospective customer organizations.
    • Leverage your network and industry knowledge to establish trust and credibility.
    • Attend industry and networking events to build relationships and generate new business opportunities.

    Requirements

    • At least 5 years of B2B sales experience, with a minimum of 2 years in Managed Services Sales.
    • Proven success in outside sales or business development, preferably in the technology services industry.
    • Excellent presentation, organization, and interpersonal skills.
    • A driven, decisive, organized, and results-oriented mindset.
    • Passion for sales and exceeding expectations.
    • Demonstrated ability to conduct research, identify customer needs, and present tailored solutions.
    • Strong negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
    • Experience responding to RFPs and crafting proposals.
    • Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., HubSpot Sales) and Microsoft Office tools.
