SugarShot is looking for an experienced and accomplished Sales Manager with demonstrated success in building a sales team in the IT and cybersecurity industry. The primary function of this role is to accelerate the growth of sales by bringing in new clients who fit our ideal client profile.

The Sales Manager will actively participate in the sales cycle and in company meetings. Our company is successful because we keep a pulse on what businesses need to keep them operational and secure. That information comes from the observations of our Sales Team and Sales Leaders.

The Sales Manager will participate in cross-functional conversations with other departments including Marketing, Operations and Finance regularly. These interactions allow us to architect the right solutions for our clients, reach more of our target audience, and ensure that forecasts remain accurate.

  • Willing to produce 12-18 months with quota
  • Attainment of quarterly quota and forecast goals for the Outside Sales Department
  • Review call recordings and records for quality assurance and provide appropriate coaching and feedback to sales personnel
  • Work cross-functionally with Marketing to develop pipeline growth strategies
  • Leveraging internal resources as needed for solution architecture
  • Continuously refine the ideal client profile
  • Hire, train, and coach appropriate personnel for the sales/advisory function
  • Diligently track information and provide continuous forecast and pipeline accuracy in Hubspot
  • Keep up with IT and cybersecurity market trends to identify areas of growth and enhancement for SugarShot
  • Provide quality updates and information to SugarShot to keep the team informed of what’s going on with sales
  • Effectively present recommendations and assessment findings
  • Create and managed a department budget that aligns with sales efforts


  • 5+ years of direct sales experience in consultative selling
  • 3 – 5 years in a Sales Leadership position
  • Prior business strategy / risk management consulting is a plus
  • Prior IT/cybersecurity sales is a plus
  • Hubspot knowledge is a plus
  • Excellent negotiation skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent online presentation skills
  • Comfortable presenting on camera
  • Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills
